I Can't Focus

We have a little shower in one bathroom.   It's quite old so it's going to be replaced this week.   In an effort to save a little money on these projects, I told the contractor we would do the demo.   I always think a demo won't be too difficult.   I've been wrong before and I am wrong again.    So I can't focus today because of the hammering, pounding, and prying sounds ringing in my ears.   I spent time on it yesterday and now Sweetie is doing his part today.   I don't know if it was such a good idea.   I can't focus.

we'll have contractors begin tomorrow to re-side and paint our house. i'm not looking forward to that noise either... good luck!

It's always a challenge when you do things yourself, but DANG... otherwise it's so expensive to pay for the labor. What? no photos of you wearing a dust mask??

Sometimes it's worth the money to have somebody do it all. Unfortunately, if you're like me, in the efforts to always save a dime, I don't find that out until it's too late!

Good luck! I hope you get the demo done soon so you can re-focus!

When the work is all finished no doubt you'll be shouting from the roof tops, "why didn't we do this sooner!"
