Stopping for Naked Sheep
I was driving home from my friend's yesterday after riding my horse, Henry. It's what I do now, spend time with my horse. But I sometimes miss my camera, so I usually make sure I have it with me, just in case. I had an apple with me yesterday, on the seat of the truck, which I forgot to give to Henry and hadn't yet eaten for myself. It fell onto the floor and was rolling around with every turn. Things like that make me a little crazy because I desperately want to reach over and pick up whatever is rolling around. Can't do that when you're driving, right? So I pulled over to take care of the problem, just a couple miles from home. And the naked sheep were grazing in the big pasture that sometimes has mini donkeys and other times has sheep. Photo op! Right?
I took a few photos of the view because I find it so beautiful, even this time of year when the grasses and fields are brown. That's why California is nicknamed The Golden State, did you know?
I didn't edit these photos at all. I didn't even have a filter on my lens. It was just that beautiful, at least to my eye. The contrasting colors against the crisp sky are pleasing to me. It's the reason I named my ranch Autumn Sky.
I hope you have a nice week. I am going to make an effort to take more photos and share some with you here. Thanks for visiting!
