Anticipation

They used that song in a ketchup commercial, didn't they?   Not what I had in mind but I thought of it as soon as I typed the word.

 Okay, here's a good thing about Summer..... I can't wait to try one.

I saw some buds on mine as well. There is nothing like a tomato straight off the plant, warmed by the sun.

Hi Denise I love pulling tomatoes from the plant. My Grannie had large greenhouses and I used to love to go and sit in them because I loved the smell of the tomato plants. Margaret

I have some baby tomatoes out in my garden, too... can't wait for them to grow! We are having 3 more days of rain this week, though.

I gave up growing tomatoes a few years ago. The groundhogs got most of them, and they were taking up real estate that I needed for roses. Now I get my 'maters from my little sister's overambitious garden ... and salsa from Mom, who makes it from said sister's 'maters. Win win. :)
