Throwback Thursday

People post old photos on Thursday.   I'm not sure if it's a Facebook thing, a Twitter thing, or an Instagram thing.   Either way, it sent me looking through some old family photos.   I found this treasured photo of our cousins on my mom's side of the family.   A lot of my old color photos are fading quite a bit so it's nice to be able to boost them a little in editing before they're too faded to recognize.

 I am in the back row, third from the left, in a turquoise dress with pink flowers.   I remember that dress.   I loved the fabric.   For those of you know know my sister, she is in the back row in the red, black and white dress.   

I miss having big family gatherings like these.   It was very special to have cousins around.

I didn't know Thursday was old picture day either . . . I too liked family times with all my cousins! Next Thursday, I'll have a couple oldies . . .

I love old photos- I always get the flashback Friday and Throwback Thursday mixed up. Whichever it is- you and sis look happy!

Priceless!! Have you ever noticed how much everyone looks alike, and dresses alike in those old pics...you can pretty much name the year, or decade for sure! Yours is from the 60's. Right? Do you think we'll look back in years to come, and say, "oh look, our hair, our clothes, that must be the 20's"?
