La Nina

We are in the pattern called La Nina.   No rain and very cold.   We need rain in the Winter months.   Not only because of concern about drought, but because people like me want to take pretty photos:-)   With everyone cranking up their fireplaces on these cold days, the air is filled with smoke.   I wanted to take photos yesterday but our usual blue sky is white.   So I got nothing.

C'mon rain.   Help me out here.

If not for me, do it for the chickens.

Does your new camera take video? You could do that instead of photos. Just a thought. :-)

We had a cold early morning but now the sun is shining!

Us too... La Nina, no snow up our way yet, but the weatherman (can we really depend upon him?????) says we will...

Yes, I was aware of the La Nina effect which we feel all the way over here on the Atlantic Ocean in far eastern part of Canada. Our winter has not turned on us yet because of La Nina. I suspect January will be more like winter...lovely photo today!

It's dark and gloomy here. Much prettier where you are.

January Purge

I think it happens every Winter, the need to purge stuff.   It seems we spend years collecting stuff, holding on to stuff, only to find late...
