Blue and Green and Yellow

I mentioned yesterday that I needed some blue.   It was actually gray in the morning but it started to clear mid-morning and I saw some of the blue I was seeking.   So I did a few errands and then headed west on Highway 46 toward the coast.   It's such a beautiful drive this time of year because the hillsides are turning green from our rains.   And the wildflowers are starting to show their faces too, always a delight for Californians.

Rather than heading towards Morro Bay, I decided to go the other direction on Highway 1 and head towards Cambria.   This is one of the lookouts on 46 where you can stop and admire the endless vistas.   There was one other car stopped so it was very peaceful.   The peek of blue on the left is the ocean.

When I reached Cambria, the wind was blowing pretty hard and it was actually a little difficult to steady my camera.   But I managed to find some yellow to go with the green and blue....and filled my card in the process.

All I can say is, it was awesome and exactly what I needed.   I have 250 photos to go through so I'm sure you will see more soon.   Or take a trip to Cambria and fill your card too:-)

I could use a little Cambria this time of the year... although I noticed that our Japanese Maple is getting pink blossoms on it already. Looks as though all of our flowering trees will be doing their thing a bit early this year.

Great shots, Sis!
