T-shirts and Such

I wear T-shirts all the time.   I mostly wear black because I get dusty and dirty taking care of the animals.   Black is better than white for dirty work.   When you are a Tee type of gal, it is important to find your favorite "go to" Tee.   For some time, I chose the Favorite T from Gap.   I had many many of those until I realized they had changed their fabric and styles.   NEVER should they do that, unless they have checked with me and allowed me the opportunity to buy a lifetime supply.

After moving to this area, we don't have as many stores unless we drive to San Luis Obispo.   And so, I went to Target and found a great T-shirt to satisfy my needs.   It was their Cherokee brand.   It was a nice thick and comfortable cotton, and so I stocked up.   I am wearing one today that I have had for more than a few years.   I hate to throw it away because, naturally, they are no longer found at Target.   Again, CHECK WITH ME before discontinuing an item.

This is my new T-shirt.   I buy these at Kohl's and have found them for the past two years.   You can be sure I have a few of them.   And I am going to purchase more, put them away in a drawer, and hope to never again be in the situation of losing my "go to" shirts.

I have had other experiences with items such as boots, panties, and jeans.   Life can be so difficult sometimes, don't you think?

I have found that this happens with mostly everything that I come to like. As a result, I also stock up when I find something I like.

I really hate when something I love is discontinued .. my favorite mascara, a shade of eye shadow that can only be described as opal-ish .. sigh .. I too used to adore the Gap's Favorite T .. they did change it and not for the better .. I still have one in a heather grey I wear and care for gently so it lasts ... American Vintage makes a fine tee ... light and soft ... I recommend them

I wear lots of turtle necks in the winter months and have many... they're just warm and toasty. I used to buy ALL of them at Target, but this past year couldn't find them in the ladies sizes as was told that they quit making them... so, off to the mens and boys departments where the DO have them. Sheesh, they always have to make things difficult for the public, don't they?

I agree I some favorites that are no longer made. I just hate that. Our color around our homestead is brown. The color of dirt. This I call the new white. We have a lot of black and dark navy blue too. Anything dark to hide the dirt.

I so, so, so agreed with this. Drives me into the willies when I have a favorite and then "they" change. My irritant is changing toothpaste. I find one I like, buy up a bunch and then they come out with a new box design, some new flavor added, whitener, etc. FRUSTRATION . . . I then have to scout stores all over to find my favorite . . .

Happy you found a Tee, purchase a gross!
T-shirts are a staple! I'm going to check out American vintage now...
