Our Reward

After a few very hot days, the wind brought in some cooler air.   I went out to tuck the chickens in their coop, feed a final snack to the horses and donkeys, and the sky to the East turned absolutely gorgeous.   I don't have a very good spot to take photos in that direction, but I had to run in for my camera and take some anyway.   No editing, just the gorgeous skies.   Our reward for dealing with a few more hot days.

Then, turning around to the other direction, you can see the fog coming over the hills.   We love to see that because it means nighttime cooling.   Ahhhhh.   The sky to the southwest was so much different than looking to the east.   I always find that interesting in photos.   Turn around and the colors change.   The doves sit on those wires every evening.   They are such gentle creatures and always add to the peacefulness of the moment.

Every single one of you...you and you and you....have a nice Friday and safe holiday weekend.

Your photos make me wish I did not live in the city.
Great sky photos. I have a lot of doves here. Dove season starts soon so I will be hearing shotguns every morning and evening. Neighbor is avid dove hunter, I don't know why since they are not that big.

Beautiful skies . . . Amazing to be out there seeing pins and blues and turning around and see muted tans and yellows.

Very nice photos . . .
