Light Changes

As you know if you follow my blog, I love taking photos of sunsets.   I have thousands, I am sure.   When I head out in the evening for a light show in the sky, I often spend time playing around with my settings because the light changes so quickly.   Shooting the sunset while keeping the foreground light is always a struggle for me and I often don't like the results.   So I shoot for the sky which, of course, is the subject of the photo anyway.   And then I play with Lightroom.   Love me some Lightroom!!

Last night we had very dark clouds above the setting sun.   I decided to edit this as shown below and I really like how it turned out.   I'm sure it's not for everyone, but it pleases my eye so I wanted to share it here.

It's cold today.   How cold?   Well, we had hail late last night and very heavy frost this morning.   And now the sun is shining and I'm heading out to enjoy it for a while.    Have a great day!
