Random 5 Friday

I always enjoy this meme from Nancy so I am going to try a quick post to join in.

1.    I don't mind having a messy bedroom.   When we were kids, our mom was always telling us to clean our room.   It didn't bother me then either.   I prefer the rest of the house to be relatively picked up.

2.    I really like math and the way numbers make sense in so many different ways.

3.    I don't understand why toilet tissue is so expensive.

4.    I am a napper.   I go through phases where I seem to need an afternoon nap quite often, then for a while not at all.

5.    I love real life police and prison shows.   I can watch them over and over again.   As an aside, I worked at a prison when I was much much younger.

I like afternoon naps, but then sometimes I can't sleep at night. Working at a prison must have been quite an experience!!

I especially enjoy siting in a comfy chair, sun streaming in a window, and my head bobbing down with a bounce or two and a quick nap for a few minutes. It happens, not every day, but I am left smiling and thinking . . . did I just do that old person nap kind of thing!

Love naps.
I buy the best toilet tissue available.
I like every room in the house to be tidy.
I burned out on real life shows of any kind a long time ago.
Math? I like it as long as it's not algebra, trig or anything beyond add, subtract, multiply and divide. The multiplication tables were pounded into my head with a flash card game in third grade. I can still say them in my sleep. LOL

Love the photo!
I am a napper!

I love math too. I enjoyed teaching the kids math when i was teaching in the elementary schools.

The older I get the less I mind a little clutter.

The older I get, the more I like naps! Math is okay. I'm trying to clean out the house ... taking slow steps and started with magazines and books -- easy way for me to start. Things look nice! :D After my husband died, I promised myself I would get up and make the bed -- it would have been too easy to go back to bed and hide.
I am a napper, too! But I would get a lot more done if I didn't indulge in them. . . .

I don't mind a little clutter, but sometimes mine gets out of hand. I have been slowly getting rid of some of it, and I like the results.

I bet you have a lot of good stories to tell from working in a prison!

I think you hit on a favorite past time we all enjoy -- naps! I sometimes take one in the afternoon, but it does burn up the day.

Love those boots!

Toilet paper? The cost is ridiculous.

I do not like math.

I went through a true crime show jag last summer when the hubs was working out of town.
i was told by our childhood plumber that it was a great business - wish i had taken it up. but i find it would be a very STINKY job. yucky too!! ha. ha!! ( :

love your boots. i enjoy naps, when i feel the need.

depends on the cop show. i love "Blue Bloods" tom selleck & donnie walberg are so cute.

Naps rule for sure! :D
How delightfully random!! I was nodding my head in agreement as I read about your messy bedroom. I only sleep and get dressed in my bedroom, so I'm only there awake for a few minutes every day. If it's messy, I don't really care.

No naps.

I like words and pictures. Numbers are necessary, I know, but I don't enjoy them.

Have a great weekend.
I enjoyed this post, and finding out some random things about you! I love naps too, and am fine with a messy bedroom, but don't get me started about the kitchen! :-)

Enjoy your weekend!

Oh, it's good to find another napper. I LOVE to take a wee nap each day--it's how I survive. Even just 15 minutes helps!

Wow you worked in a prison...I've never known anyone who has. I love to nap as well...lately I'm not so much but in the winter YES!!!

OMG - I wish I could understand why some people consider math to be so easy! You have no idea how much misery math has caused me throughout my life, first as a kid, then as a parent and then as a teacher whose job it was to help kids with their class work. The history and literature was a snap, but the very sight of a math problem almost gave me such a sense of guilt because I could not help.
