Random 5 Friday

I am waking up slowly this morning.   I'm not sure why because I had enough sleep.   I am definitely starting a low energy kind of day.   But here's my Random 5 Friday list!   Ready?

1.    I love fruit, any kind of fruit, any time of day.   I know it's full of sugar and it's not good to overdo, but when they say 5 servings of fruits and vegetables....I could do all of them with fruit.

2.    I have had several red dresses in my life and I can remember every single one of them, starting with a red knit dress I wore in high school.   Because I no longer dress up for anything, I doubt there is a red dress anywhere hidden away in my home.   That is a little sad.

3.    I have very few things hanging on my walls.   I used to hang things, in my previous homes.   I'm not sure why I don't decorate my walls.   I think it's because I imagine that if I make a choice, I will grow tired of it or want something else.   Or there may be some other reason.   *shrugs*

4.    I put an injured young Magpie in a cage last night to see if it would heal.   It didn't.   RIP Magpie.

5.    I have what I would consider an "almost phobia" about snakes.   I killed one this week.   Eeeeek.

At least you were brave enough to kill it. We once saw one in my MIL's house and my hubby was paralyzed. I think it eventually made its way out of the house after MIL nearly smooshed it with a golf club....
Sorry to hear about that magpie....

No red dresses here either, although I do still have the dress I wore to my daughter's wedding in 1997 but doubt I can fit into it these days... It was not red by the way. Snakes scare the buhjeezus out of me. Some of them in our state are so darned fast that they could probably out run this old woman. Snakes do run, don't they? LOL

Aww, poor magpie.

I'm not really afraid of snakes and will pick them up if I know they are non-poisonous.

No dresses, red or otherwise, in my closet.

Nope. Not a single dress or skirt to my name. In red or any other color. :) Just jeans, t-shirts.. jeans, light sweaters.. jeans and sweatshirts..

I'm so sorry about the sweet little magpie.

Sorry about your magpie. :( I've done that before and it rarely ends happily. I hate that I can't always fix things.

We don't have snakes here. But I feel that way about spiders. Even small ones.

I saw a snake this week too! EEEEEKKK!!!!
No red dress for me either, but I do have a couple of black dresses, does that kinda count? ;-)

Snakes, I feel the same way--Sorry about the Magpie, I admire you for trying!!

Your magpie photo is beautiful! I have two red dresses - one with sleeves and one that is a linen tank dress. Neither are particularly sexy, it's just that I love red!

Enjoyed your Randoms . . . and always your photos. Love the red flower . . . I think a red dress treat would be fun!

Poor Magpie. You did your best. But, I will not say poor snake 'cause I hate them too. They could all be dead and I'd be happy.
