Weeks Fly By

Hi, it's me!   I'm having my morning coffee and thought I would stop by my neglected blog.   This month is flying past with June peeking behind the corner.   We're just winding down another very hot few days and last evening we were talking about whether the rain will come in October.   So many of you are having a very late Spring after such a bad Winter.   And we're wondering about rains coming in the Fall.

I drove to the Coast the other day, just before the long holiday which brings too many people.   I hadn't been there in a while and needed the soul soothing.   The tide was out and the sky was a little cloudy, just enough to make the light perfect.   A stroll along the walkway, saying hello to people walking their dogs, and watching the egrets and otters and a heron....my soul was much happier when I left.

The flowers along the way were a gorgeous burst of blue/purple.   The new header photo was probably my favorite.

And now it's time to refresh my coffee and chat with my honey before he heads up north for a few work days.   I hope you're all doing well.   Thanks for stopping by!

Hi Denise Yes your header is gorgeous. As is the heron with its reflection and I cannot believe all those Otters in one shot. Wow! The flowers are SO vivid.

So your time away was well worth it!!!...:) JP
You are right about how quickly May passed and how you really do need those times to reboot and recharge, I'm glad you were able to do that. Your photos are stunning, and I would flock to the coast too if I lived in your time zone! :-)

Some people need the sea to restore them... sounds like you are one of those.
And welcome back after your little blogging break
