Hello

Truly the best thing to happen last week, Adele releasing a new song and album to follow.   You had to have listened to "Hello" even if you didn't quickly purchase the album in pre-order.   The world has been waiting for her new music for something like four years!   She is just incredible.

Do you have your own "must see" programs on TV or Netflix or whatever you watch?   I am continuing to watch Madam Secretary and The Good Wife on Sunday nights.   And I watch Greys Anatomy and Scandal on Thursday.   I like the story lines, the actors, the strong female characters, and the fact that they are NOT reality TV.   I watch some of what could be considered reality TV, but have never seen any of the Housewives shows or Big Brother or Naked and Afraid (yes, that's a show).   We pay too much for Dish Network but still enjoy having TV so we just deal with it.   We don't have a fast enough internet for online programming.   And of course, there's sports.

We are barely having a Fall season.   It's still quite warm during the days.   One of my lilacs is budding and blooming.   That's pretty bad.   There are many indications of El Nino happening around the world, but we haven't yet seen rain and of course hope that we do.   Other signs are many sharks out in the waters, relatively close to shore, as well as little red crabs and sea snakes washing ashore south of here, and lots of other things.   Downpours and mudslides and flooding have already happened east of here and on I5 toward LA.   Stay tuned, it's bound to get worse this Winter.

The skies have been so pretty.   Bright blue skies, fluffy white clouds, beautiful sunsets.   A few chances to wear a sweatshirt in the morning, only to shed outerwear by 9 or 10am.   The chickens are still molting, the equines are growing their winter coats, the sparrows have returned, and the dogs are playful in the cooler air.

All is well, and now here are a few photos I'd like to share.

Now I must get busy learning the words to Adele's new song so I can sing along in my truck.   Have a good Monday and enjoy the week.

Adele seems to have inspired some very nice photography.

Yes, that song! It has caught on like wildfire - I even used a lyric from it for an IG photo this weekend....
Amazing skies. Wow.
Hopefully your weather will turn for the better. We have had an extremely dry Fall season - scant rain in October and things are dry and hard.

I have not heard it yet...but am going to find it right after I leave my comment.

Your photos are lovely, as usual. Such a nice treat for the eyeballs. :) The pups are cute too.

I hope your weather is not dramatic even if the signs are pointing that way.

And yes, I have seen Naked and Afraid and I actually like the show. It is about outdoor survival with nothing...including food, water, shelter or clothing. Most participants fashion some sort of cover from the elements as they usually stick them out in some severe locations. It beats the heck out of all the murder/crime/goofy shows that are on TV.
Love the pups and the beautiful sky images
