Breathe In Breathe Out

With social media, the events in the world can be overwhelming.   It's one thing to hear about and read about via the news.   Seeing all the rhetoric on social media is too much for me.   I always go back outside, enjoy the fresh air, and spend time with the animals....and others who love animals.

Today's photos include Earl and Annie.   They live at the ranch where I take Buddy for lessons.   They were born to a feral cat at our fairgrounds and fortunately found a home here where they are well loved and cared for.   Earl is fearless and at times a pain in the backside.   Annie is his beautiful sister.

In the first collage, Earl is thinking about jumping up on Buddy.   When that isn't an option, he is considering the tail.   He would have done it, given another minute to think about it.

On this day, Earl was right there beside Buddy's feet, hoping he would move so he and his sister could climb into the back of the mounting block.   For what reason?   Because.   They were in there for about 30 seconds and came back out.

I don't have cats, I'm allergic to them.   But I love their antics and enjoy their ridiculousness.  Watching them is much more relaxing than reading the ridiculousness of social media.

Barn cats are simply the best - so much fun to watch and interact with. These two have beautiful markings and am glad they are well cared for at the barn.

Oh my gosh, I sooo agree with you about the news, and FB and all the rest!! It really is too much, and it's overwhelming and disheartening because what can anyone of us do about it all?

Cats can be so much fun to watch.

And..."because" is the answer to so many things in life. :)

Happy Thanksgiving Denise!!

I, too, am escaping. I have been avoiding the computer and FB like the plague and watching Netflicks whenever possible. We are hooked on The Great British Baking Show where there is no nastiness, fighting, death or bad things happening. It's about all I can handle these days. It is so darn depressing.

Those cats are BEAUTIFUL!! Such pretty colors! I'm glad you found them to make you smile again.

I have never been a fan of cats . . .
I find them skittish and unpredictable . . .
However, I do like to watch them from a distance.
I enjoyed your collage pictures . . .
Love the horse shots as well as the kitties.
