Perspective

The morning after my day of irritation, a young friend of mine was injured in an accident and ended up in the hospital.   The family didn't know how badly she was injured until around noon, so we were all very worried about her.   Fortunately she's healing in the hospital for a few days and is going to be okay.   It's good to keep things in perspective and always try to consider what's really important in life.

This morning....

Enjoy your Friday and the weekend.   It's a holiday!

So hard to keep perspective. I need more of that and I do keep trying but sometimes I just want to throw stuff. I have some friends going through VERY difficult times and it makes me so unhappy.

Yes, if I am feeling sorry for myself, I consider those who are hurting and I can no longer feel sorry for myself. Perspective definitely helps.
Have a great weekend!
I've often found the same perspective. I start having a pity party and encounter someone with truly difficult issues, that make mine seem so petty in comparison. It's a good wake-up call!

it never fails, when you feel as if the world isn't letting you catch a break, you hear about someone who has it worse .. puts it all in perspective
Perspective always matters...for the camera and especially in life. Glad she'll be alright!...:)

My perspective got a jolt in these past weeks as my brother, who lives with me, found out he has cancer in his bladder. Plans have been arranged for me to work from home to help him as he deals with the issues of chemo.
With that being said, I had plans on driving down to Paso Robles (Highway 46) to photograph that exact photo you have on your header. Perspective? If the tables were turned, I certainly would want him to be here to help me.
Thanks a million for sharing that photo!!

That's where you are so right, Denise. Sometimes, we do not value what we have and pay attention to some trifles. The Lord has been merciful to your friend and has blessed her for the recovery.
Let your life journey be free from disappointments,
