What Have They Done?

Blogger made some changes this week.   I didn't dig in enough to understand them because most, I'm sure, don't apply to my needs anyway.   But they used to send comments to Email and now they don't.   So what the heck!   If I want to respond to someone's comments, how does it work?   Anyone???

I can’t figure out what is happening . . .
I receive no notifications.
Some posts I can comment on.
Some I make 3-5 tries and then I am done.
Now I have learned to copy my comment, send comment by email if I have an e-address . .
Why can’t SOME THINGS just stay the SAME!

Seeing Monticello looks like a good trip . . .

Yes, the issue with the comments is wide-spread, and I read on a post I asked about it, said they're hoping to have it fixed next week. Paws crossed!

For a moment I forgot about your sister Diane-- Hope you had a fun visit! Monticello is a fun place to visit and is really beautiful, as is a lot of Virginia. I also know what you're going through in trying to decide on where to move. We're having the same dilemma, and it's a tough decision with so many things to consider.

I really hope they get this problem fixed soon. I've also heard from one of my friends who subscribes to my blog through email that she's not getting the emails.
I have my comment section set up so that it doesn't pop up in a box, it's just at the end of the blog entry and I'm able to reply direction to people in the comments section that way.

A few days ago, Nana Diana posted a work around for the comment email issue. I tried it and it worked for me.

Too bad I was in California while you were in Virginia. I would have loved to see you in person.
