Tuesday Muse

We went to San Simeon yesterday.   The surf was high, the wind was strong, and there were hundreds more elephant seals on the beaches.   I called my sister via FaceTime so she could join me for a while.   It wasn't the same as having her there in person but it's the best I could do.

Can you see all the seals lining the beach in the distance?   They look like sandbags.   About two more months and the big daddies will arrive from Alaska.   I can't wait.

Enjoy your Tuesday and this first day of October.

I just love the fact that in this day and age it is possible to take someone along with you even though they live across country. Beautiful photos!

I love technology - so great that your sis can enjoy your lovely scenery, too.
Beautiful photo - I love all the layers from the foreground to the background.

All I can remember is the increase in smells when there are lots of seals! Glad they were so far away.

January Purge

I think it happens every Winter, the need to purge stuff.   It seems we spend years collecting stuff, holding on to stuff, only to find late...
