Tuesday Muse

We went to San Simeon yesterday.   The surf was high, the wind was strong, and there were hundreds more elephant seals on the beaches.   I called my sister via FaceTime so she could join me for a while.   It wasn't the same as having her there in person but it's the best I could do.   

Can you see all the seals lining the beach in the distance?   They look like sandbags.   About two more months and the big daddies will arrive from Alaska.   I can't wait.
